SPEAKER: Dota 2 is considered one of the most complex video games ever. It requires stunning coordination and perfect execution at every point of the match, something that only humans can do. Or so we thought. 

A team of engineers from OpenAI was challenged to create an artificial intelligence so powerful that it would defeat Dota 2 world champions during the international. And they were given only a year to do it. 

This is the story of Artificial Gamer, a documentary film that explores how I can push boundaries of what we thought was possible. It is currently available to watch for free on CS50's YouTube channel, followed by Q&A with the producer, the director, and the engineer who was on the OpenAI team.
