SPEAKER 1: Sammy and I wanted SleepS50 to be a cute, helpful, and educational website that helps people improve their sleeping habits and well-being. SPEAKER 2: And Joanne ended up coming up with the idea because she was like, "Oh, Sammy, you always oversleep. Your sleep habit is terrible. Let's help you out with that." SPEAKER 1: I did not have any CS experience before taking CS50, which was something that I was definitely nervous about. SPEAKER 2: We never actually coded any graphs in class as a part of our P sets. But the one thing that we did learn from CS50 was how to overcome challenges and how to be able to search up code on our own, and how to be able to implement them stylistically to fit in with the web application that we wanted to create. SPEAKER 1: We designed it so that users could input, what we call, diary entries, and look back on their sleep progress. It was eye-opening to see my progress grow. SPEAKER 2: After taking this class, it honestly just opened up a new passion for me.
