CARTER ZENKE: So you all know what we're about to do? Yes, microteaching. You remember things from yesterday, right? Yes. I told you to remember two things. One was your group number. The other was feedback. Good. So our goals today are still the same. We're going to practice teaching a CS2 topic of your choice. You could reteach the topic you chose yesterday and try to use the feedback you got to improve your teaching. So remember your feedback and think if you can make it an improvement today. We'll still have the same instructions. So we'll start by going to a table with your group. And you'll still choose your first teacher to teach. It can be the same person as yesterday or a new person. After they teach for five minutes, you'll give feedback. But same idea-- here are those instructions in Bahasa. For feedback, our instructions will be a little different today. Yesterday, you wrote feedback on paper. Today, you can just say the feedback-- no need to write unless you want to. You can write if you want to. But you can also say the feedback today. So again, our goal is five minutes of teaching per person, two minutes for feedback. And our goal is to improve from yesterday. Are you ready? AUDIENCE: Ready! CARTER ZENKE: Here is our algorithm. If you are groups 1 through 10, raise your hand. So good to see you. Get ready. Stand up. You should see Margaret on the left-hand side. Go follow Margaret. So this was our last session together before certificates, yes? I hope you all learned something. Actually, I have two hopes for you all-- one, that you learned something from us who are up here. Did you learn something from us? AUDIENCE: Yes. CARTER ZENKE: That's. Good I'm glad. I'm relieved, actually. My other hope is that you learn something from each other. Did you learn something from each other? AUDIENCE: Yes. CARTER ZENKE: I'm so glad. I think that before you came here, you already knew so much about your teaching and, just by sharing, that you've helped others learn about it, too. So I hope you often continue sharing all you know about teaching and building your community wherever you go. In fact, could you all join me in closing your eyes again? I'll close my eyes. And I'll trust you. Are your eyes closed? Remember-- do you see your friends? Can you remember your friends? How about your family? How about your students? We have something that you should tell them. Can you repeat after me? I know-- AUDIENCE: I know-- CARTER ZENKE: --very much-- AUDIENCE: --very much-- CARTER ZENKE: --I have-- AUDIENCE: --I have-- CARTER ZENKE: --much to share. AUDIENCE: --much to share. CARTER ZENKE: That's all. Thank you. AUDIENCE: That's all. Thank you. [LAUGHTER] [APPLAUSE]
