DAVID: I feel like I'm about to offend half your audience somehow. 

I have not seen evidence to persuade me that math… Sorry. 

TOM: That math is real. 

DAVID: Sorry. 

TOM: Math isn't real, everyone. 

DAVID: That magic is real. However, I have seen tricks where I am indeed mesmerized by how they did what they did. 

TOM: And you have that first, at first, you first see it and you're like, it has to be magic, 

DAVID: It is, but then… 

TOM: almost. 

DAVID: I do find myself struggling to think, okay, there must be a better explanation and I'm just not seeing it. But fun fact, two colleagues of mine are actually taking a magic class right now, which sounds like wonderful fun. 

TOM: Is this going to make it into CS50? 

DAVID: Possibly. Maybe an opening act. 

TOM: Future magic tricks. 

DAVID: Yes.
